The Tauren Solo RDA by ThunderHead Creations is a 24mm single coil atomizer, it comes in a black velvet-like bag, with the logo and brand name printed on it.

Inside we find the classic metal container of ThunderHead in a cylindrical shape, which once opened and unscrewed shows us the atomizer screwed to the lower cap of the container which also acts as a stand.

We also find an envelope containing the warranty coupon, the manual, and some spare parts: an Allen key, o-ring, gold-plated screws and bf pins.

Regarding the detailed technical specifications and the various colors available, please refer to the website-- Tauren Solo RDA.

Aesthetic and functional aspect:

The atom in my possession is in shiny black SS (SS Black).

Aesthetically it is aggressive and massive thanks to the build of the upper part and the clearly visible logo.

The slots on the barrel are rectangular in size and allow easy adjustment of the airflow, simply by turning the barrel.

The 810 tip is medium in size with rounded edges, making it very pleasant to the touch.

When removing the bell, the deck is accessed. In the central part, we have 17 small holes arranged in three rows that will allow the air to hit the coil from below.

Laterally the two towers are clearly visible, very massive, high and curved downwards, with seven holes for each, so that the air also hits the coil laterally. The fixing screws are Allen keys and face outwards, this facilitates tightening operations.

The side tanks are wide and very deep, about 11mm, so as to contain about 2ml of liquid, a characteristic that obliges us to keep the cotton very long and open like a fan.

I built it with different configurations, always on 3mm bits, using a Clapton 26 * 32 wire and an Alien Clapton 0.1 * 0.8 + 32, using 4 or 5 turns.

Final considerations:

Aesthetically I find it very pleasant, solid and well built.

The fact that it is a 24mm also makes it aesthetically pleasing if it is mounted on a dual battery Mod or on a large Mod.

The shot is very soft, not too airy even with all the slots open, the production of steam is good, the steam is very dense and the aromatic yield is very good.

It is also practically impossible to over squonk.

I liked all the configurations I used, varying configurations and powers (from 40 to 70w), this makes it a very versatile atom, although to my taste it gives the best of itself between 45 and 65w of use.

For the configuration of the deck is an atom to be used preferably in Bottomfeeder.
